Inspired by native mangrove forests, the GroVase features interconnected vessel bases that house fibers that aid water flow for an easy self-watering mechanism, similar to how mangrove roots allow the plant, along with the entire ecosystem, to thrive through connected and cooperative function.
The form of the vase mimics the spread of mangrove roots, which gives the plant its distinct grand look, but inverted to shift the general perspective of mangrove and add to visual interest.
