Escolta, derived from the Spanish word escoltar meaning "to escort". Once the thriving street of Old Manila, Escolta is famously known as a historic area where business and trade flourished. Escolta was hailed as Manila's 'Queen of the Streets', a street filled with beautiful architecture and bustling crowds. Acquiring inspiration from the architecture, the jeepney was designed as an ode to the glory of Escolta. Through the Art Deco-inspired style infused with modern elements, Escolta was designed to enhance the overall commute experience of Filipinos.
